I did tech support for my parents this afternoon, in addition to helping my father put up the lights outside. I magically found the manual for their answering machine on line, so I think it now works for the first time in like 6 months, and I took approximately a zillion scanner programs off their computer, which should help it not to suck so bad. I could still go back and do more, though. Oy.

Oh yeah: on Thursday I did go in to my less crazy manager and say, "So, I'm going on this trip, then? 'Cause nobody told me." She had the grace to look embarrassed, and agreed that I shouldn't have found out in an email, and asked if I could go. So, fine. Ish. I'm still going to give psycho manager a hard time about it at some opportune moment. Ideally in a meeting. (I found out later that psycho pissed someone else off with that email, too, so... nice job, there.)
Anyway, Sophia, if your boss needs to know what real passive-aggressive behavior looks like, I'll be giving demonstrations for the foreseeable future.
