Ugh - I've sort of agreed to buy a bed from this guy on Craigslist, but the cost of the UHaul to bring it home is coming out to almost the cost of just buying the same bed from a furniture store and having it delivered.

The greener option would be to buy the used bed, but...I'm pregnant and don't want to carry a twin bed up 4 flights of stairs. Is that so wrong?

What flavour are yellow Lifesavers supposed to be? Those things are nast. I think I only like the purple ones, for their excellent sourness. Which has nothing to do with actual grape flavour.

Good points, all! I shall cancel the CL order. (If I were buying the mattress from him too it would work out to be much cheaper, but NYC has a bedbug problem so used mattresses scare me.)

We just not a new mattress since our very old one was giving DW back trouble. One of the places we went to check prices was Nebraska Furniture Mart. It was the first time I went there and it was something. It's like an indoor shopping mall, but it's all a single store.

Anyhow we didn't get it there since the small store actually cost a little less. Also, they delivered it across town about six hours after we bought it.

I'm sad they changed the five, too, Connie. I liked the ones from before. But cherry is my OTLS as well.
