Zoe: Next time we smuggle stock, let's make it something smaller. Wash: Yeah, we should start dealing in those black-market beagles.

Yep. I know, sara. It's partially the hospital's fault and partially the clientele. There was a teen in the ER who was yacking on her phone. Essentially mom made her go there because she said she had a headache. As overheard by the entire waiting room (but not understood by the non-English speaking mom and aunt) the girl was pissed that she had to wait (for 6 hours) because she had lied about feeling ill so she wouldn't have to go to school. When you are essentially County Hospital for Kids and you are in the ER it's all about waiting.

Granted, CHLA could do a better job actually triaging patients. But no. Not in this instance.

Our wings are not tired.

I don't know what a groupon is, but back in 1987-90, Hugo's was my breakfast mainstay (when I could afford it, which wasn't very often).

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Hah! The Fringe opener made me think of OldBoy. That movie is all over my brain today. Their worst opening for me was still the liquefying airplane people.

javachik: www.groupon.com

I got $40 at Hugo's for $20. Picked up two and have used both of them. Love Hugo's.

I'll check it out.

Kat, ita, and me, next time I am in LA: we hit Hugo's? Please??

Sure! I don't think I've ever been there.

Whoa. Now I want Roscoe's. That was out of nowhere.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I just bought one for $50 of sushi for $25.00. It's going to be a Christmas present, so it's not even cheating on the don't spend money thing.

java, OF COURSE. The question of course is which one? We always go to the one in Studio City.

ita, we've been before together. You had pasta papa without the eggs. And I think the extra special hot chocolate.

Perkins, groupons work great. It's a little weird the first time you redeem them, but then you get over it.

Weird how?

I've been to Hugo's!
