Delicious typography. A super-soft, Tri-Blend t-shirt in espresso brown from American Apparel, printed with everyone's favorite logogram (set in Knockout). Peanut butter? Mustard? Fluff? Jelly? Either way, we think the ampersand is a ligature for eat and not et.
My temperature is very important, but I need covers no matter how hot it is. Even if I have them just near my face and off the rest of my body
Me too. It's because of the vampires, you know. They can't get you if your neck is covered.
You can't imagine his basic youthful allergy to clothes. Which persisted for a while into his acting career. But onstage at the comedy club the standups would place bets on how long it would take him to shed his clothes.
whimper I can't not think about it! Why do you torment me?
Top and bottom?
Yep. It's even worse with a mattress pad. I bought a foam mattress topper, and it's lovely, but by morning it's almost a third of the way off the bed. Someday I'ma get a camcorder just to video myself at night and see what the hell it is I do in my sleep. Possibly the Macarena.
the NY Senate voted "no" on marriage
Fuckers.
A local artist made a felted Xmas tree for charity. It's amazing and the detail is mindboggling: [link] [link]
That's awful. Dumb NY Senate.
Homemade lightning!

I had a texting cuss off earlier. I used "goat fucker."
Dear lord, the Brooklyn real estate site I read just had the mother of all Godwins: [link]
What's going on in Chicago:
Chicago canal to be poisoned to kill invasive carp
Tonight, federal and Illinois officials will begin poisoning a section of the Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal in the hope of killing the invasive carp that may have moved north of an electric barrier designed to keep them out of Lake Michigan.
...
Should carp reach the lake, scientists fear the voracious fish could wipe out native species by hoarding available food sources.
They've got a similar issue in Northern California where non-native trout that were introduced into certain mountain lakes have been fucking up the ecosystem. So they're thinking about poisoning the trout. Kind of an ecological reset button, but "poisoning the lake" just doesn't sound good.
But still, "invasive carp" sounds more lame than "invasive trout."
Does anybody have SE driving experience (Ginger?) and can give me a sense of which is better? Google maps routes me to Chillicothe OH via Charlotte and Charleston WVa, and say it will take 10 hours (UGH). But from Cincinnati home it sends me via Knoxville, Chattanooga, and Atlanta, and says 8.5 hours. (It's 2 from Cinti to Chillicothe.) It kinda doesn't add up to me, somehow. Cursed mountains, and damn you Chillicothe OH for being in the middle of nowhere.
