Jayne: Well... I don't like the idea of someone hearin' what I'm thinkin'. Inara: No one likes the idea of hearing what you're thinking.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Suzi, I'm raising a glass (okay, a beer bottle. I'm civilized.) to your new chapter in life.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Congratulations, Suzi! I also raise my vodka tonic to you.

OMG, I'm so happy to have a working oven again. (Ray, our apartment fixit guy, fixed it.)

I took a cheap TJ's cheese pizza and topped it with onions, olives and feta and a drizzle of olive oil and it's So Good.

At Trader Joe's I noticed that they had both butternut squash and sweet potato in already cube cut-up pieces very affordably priced at $3.49 for a 2 lbs bag.

Also got the car fixed today. Cost $425 for a full tuneup plus about four things replaced because of ancient-osity. Which we can ill afford. Then again, it no longer stalls out in intersections when I step on the gas so I'm counting that as a win.
