Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I thought that the usual answer to the argument that we should help anybody because it's the decent thing to do is, "That's a job for charities, not for the government." I guess it's not a job for charities, either.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

And naturally they're familiar with all types of immigration status, like asylee applicant, T-visa, VAWA self-petitioner, PRUCOL...

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm pretty sure none of that gobbledygook equals AMERICAN.

Hell, I don't know why they can't just look at the people and listen to them talk, and figure out who's an American!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Hell yeah! Plus, why do we have to have trials and defense attorneys for people who are obviously guilty?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I have often wondered that. Lawyers! Who needs 'em??

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I clicke don the link about the toys and was not in the least surprised that it was the SA. They just fired one of our tenants from being a bellringer because he wasn't bringing in enough money.

Oh, that's disheartening. I don't know much about them, but I always had the vague sense that they were pretty good (probably based on Guys and Dolls), so I was pleased that they are taking over the old YMCA facility in town. Now I'm gonna have to think about whether I support that or not.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

SA also does not provide services to same sex couples.

WTF? Searches for "deviled eggs" are more than twice as common in Indiana as Illinois? Crazy.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I was wondering, do other areas of the country have people putting kruggerands into the SA buckets at Christmastime? That's been a holiday tradition around here since the height of the anti-apartheid protests in the mid-80s. A few show up every season; one was already reported last week.
