Ivan, get the hell back home!

So apparently there was a retirement do after work for my boss that retired about a month ago. I found out about it through Twitter. I never got an invite...marginalized much?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Missed your earlier post, somehow, Dana. Too bad you missed the 2nd quarter, it was a lot of fun to watch, but I bet that cosmo went well with the second half...

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I enjoyed it, yes.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sue, for all the talk of not going to work stuff, not getting invited is different. Was anyone else not invited?

I don't know. I wasn't at work today...I know a couple of people weren't there, since they were twittering about doing other things. Retired Boss made a big deal about not having any parties for his retirement. And yet this is the third little fete I've heard of. (The first two were mgmt olny.) Since I am in Records Management section of the Archives, they often forget about us. We're their little red-headed stepchildren.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

sumi, that is horrible. Ivan, get your furry butt home right now and quit worrying your mama.

diagnosed with Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease

Oh dear. That's what my grandfather died of.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I hope Ivan comes home by morning, Sumi.

Art Crawl!!!

Thanks, everyone.

I fell asleep on the sofa and when I woke up - my other cat was calling. So she and I went out the front and we called and got nothing. Then I picked her up and went out the back - still nothing.

Nasty wind tonight - it's very cold. I hope that my cousin is right and I don't really have to worry yet. (She has cats that disappear for a couple of days and then come back - but she lives in the country and they are barn cats. . . not sure that translates, you know?)
