Wash: Psychic, though? That sounds like something out of science fiction. Zoe: We live in a space ship, dear. Wash: So?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Mostly dead?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

hee.

I think we'd have to call it mostly dead at this point. Or maybe Natter just needs to sleep it off.

OK, and now I'm wide awake and headachy. Why must I immediately unpack and the cats take a huge stinky dump to welcome me?

Flights back were interesting. First leg, I took the seat next to 2 girls, 8 and 9, travelling alone (not together.) OMG. They were Wound Up. I played nanny, and they took it good naturedly and I basically fed them all my mints. Kinda wore me out, honestly! Next leg, I didn't get off the plane, or change seats, and the attendant apparently decided I'd done such a good job with them, she sat 2 boys with me, 11 and 12. 11 was so serious at first. Answered questions perfectly honestly (Did you have a good tg? No. Eat a lot? Not really. Oooohkkkay.) But both boys has DS and ended up bonding over that. Night and day over the girls, much quieter, ended up engaging a lot with me. They were totally awestruck by rover pictures. Score! I was refereeing thumb wrestling by the time we landed. Attendant gave me 2 cocktails gratis, though I don't know if anyone else on the plane paid either; all I know is she told me to put my card away and thanked me profusely when I got off the plane.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Yay, sarameg. I have a couple of friends who are/have been f.a.'s and you helped immensely.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Earwormed by "The Twelve Days of Christmas." Sometimes, I hate the Christmas music season.
