Man, you just get darker and darker, and the weird thing is, your aura? Beige.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Meeting time!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

What did he say?

Hey, what are your feelings on Summer Glau pictures?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

We're all lazing around the house post-waffles.

I'm going to drag Emmett out of the house to play catch shortly, since I know once he goes back to his Mom's house this afternoon he'll be playing Call of Duty on his Wii 24/7.

We had a nice low-key Thanksgiving at EM's house. I was grateful that she was hosting this year. Our oven's broken and I wasn't up to it this year anyway.

But I think we need to change up our menu for next year. We've gotten into a (tasty) rut.

When I drop Emmett off I'll also collect the turkey carcass from her so I can make homemade turkey stock. I love a big stock pot going on a cold, November day.

I've come to the recognition that November is one of my least favorite months. Not only did my mom die in November, but it's like looking down the muzzle of a seasonal-affect disorder gun with nothing but cold, darkness, gloom and rain to face. Fortunately, Christmas is a useful distraction of lights and homey comforts and excitable kids.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Emmett's bedroom has yellow walls and a blue ceiling.

hip deep in pie

Msblle, I saw a decorating show last night where they ripped out an original 1960's kitchen. the fridge looks a lot like yours, except it was muddy brown, not pink.

It should be the episode that pops up when you mouseover the episodes link, Tracy and Terry's Kitchen. There's no pictures of the appliances, unfortunately. [link]
