Fred: So you don't worry that it's possible for someone to send out a biological or electronic trigger that effectively overrides your own sense of ideals and values and replaces them with an alternative coercive agenda that reduces you to a mindless meat puppet? Shopkeeper: Wow. People used to think that I was paranoid.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I can't believe I'm watching the Roots do a medley of Christmas songs in the Macy's parade.

Because books.

Jesse, I was just thinking the same thing.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I can't decide if it makes me feel old, or just that the world has gone mad.

Because books.

I'm still trying to figure out why all musicals have to be based on a movie these days. Isn't there any original theater left?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

AMy there is, it just gets a much smaller audience. theater people, but not tourists who want to go to the theater for maybe the first time.

Jimmy Fallon is just so goofy, I have to love him and The Roots seem to be having a ball at the parade and on his show.

I put up new pics on flickr and FB for those that are on those places. On FB it is mac reading in bed and on flickr there are more of that, but also some of us skating.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Since JC Penneys lost the chair they were supposed to deliver weeks ago, I have a perfect space for a tree. Swings and roundabouts, I guess.

Pennys claims they've sent another chair, which should arrive in a few more weeks. I'll believe it when I sit in it.

But at least I've found the crystal rope things for the tree!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Oh, no Black Friday for me. No, no, no, no, no.

Even if I had money.

Because books.

Go you with the tree, Calli! And the crystal ropes! We get a real one, so we have a few weeks to wait, still. But I like to keep it up through New Year's, so I don't mind waiting.

I can see that, msbelle. I just don't have a lot of desire to see Billy Elliot as a musical when I can see the movie.

Announcement: I'm back from Joshua Tree/Palm Springs with Pix where much fun was had.
Analysis: I need to have mini-vacations and spa treatments more often.

I think this year, I'm not going to do a tree, if only because of the clean up involved. But I'll still set up the creche, and probably put up the lights along the picture rails or something.

BTW, thanks to whomever brought up SecondSpin months ago. That has turned out to be a nice little way to get rid of unwanted CDs and DVDs and pick up a little cash along the way. Wish I knew of it before the big move.
