Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'm using a gold-plated 50-foot-long Ethernet cable right now, AIFG.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Congrats, msbelle! I'm glad that official stuff is all taken care of!

Does anyone know the "perks" of a Visa Black card? I just got a pre-approved application and am wondering what the BFD is about this thing--besides the ridiculously high annual membership fee.

So sorry for your loss, smonster.

msbelle, yay for completed paperwork!

You people and your kids. You amaze me every day, and give me hope for the human species. I couldn't do it, and I'm glad there are people like you all who can.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Target often has decent priced USB cables, though if you can wait, internet is better. (Every now and then Target or Office Depot will have one on sale for 4 bucks and then I'll pick one up, so I have it if I need it.)

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm not at all concerned about the secret Santa assignments, but Nilly said she would send them out on the 22nd, and as far as I know no one has heard from her since then before then. At what point do we start worrying about Nilly?

Coding and Sleeping

I'm lucky to have a Microcenter in town. They have prices that are usually competitive with online stores. Target does sometimes have unexpectedly good prices on stuff like that.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Announcement: Trader Joe's has dark chocolate-covered caramels with sea salt.

I had these at Purple in Seattle. I am not a dessert person, but it was damn near orgasmic.

I was flirting with the idea of making them for Thanksgiving, and this is the third time they've been mentioned, so maybe . . .

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

My neighbor is playing Christmas music.

I have not made my dish for Thanksgiving, I am not even sure I have all the ingrediants. Bad.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

God, Morris Chestnut is a fine specimen of manhood.

My iPod played me Stevie Wonder's Jungle Fever on the way home today. That song always makes me joyful but self-conscious. White boy hazy indeed. Still, I'd like to raise a toast to the pretty of all the other races.
