I tell you I have this theory. It goes where, you're the one who's not my sister. Cuz mom adopted you from a shoe box full of baby howler monkeys, and never told you cuz it could hurt your delicate baby feelings.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Cass isn't a NASCAR fan. She tolerates it. She likes the other car vroom races.

Indy Cars, Formula 1, some LeMans...

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Three cookie recipes baked. My two favorites and a new one. Wasn't thrilled with the new one. Oh well, will take those to work. Folks there will eat anything.

I have ordered Thai delivery, don't feel like cooking anymore.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Oh my God, did everyone see Joseph Gordon-Levitt's SNL opening last night? It was amazing. I love him even more now.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That is quite the homage.

I have taken my garbage cans down to the street. Yay.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Back from Philcon. Had fun, saw some folks I haven't seen in a while.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

We watched a children's tv retelling of sleepy hollow and mac is now sleeping in my bed.

I ordered some clothes online tonight. I am not optomistic about the pants fitting, but we'll see.

Anyone else watching the AMAs? Didn't Kate Hudson used to have boobs? And if she's going to wear that top, shouldn't she get some double-sided tape?

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Just had an odd experience of texting with my brother to get him through his upset over losing his pet snake. I know he's drunk. I know he's belligerent when he's drunk. I know he's sensitive about his snake (Spike) being viewed as a useless pet in others eyes (including mine). I can only imagine what my father has been insensitively saying to him ("good riddance!") I know that telling him to chill and breathe will backfire. I know that telling him what to do and feel will backfire. I know that sounding like I wanted his emotions to fit my timetable would backfire.

Man, the past hour and half have been a minefield of picking out the right words that will at least get him to allow himself to stop beating himself up and feeling sick and get some sleep. But I have to say, it was worth it to read the final text of "I love you, sis!".
