Take jobs as they come -- and we'll never be under the heel of nobody ever again. No matter how long the arm of the Alliance might get, we'll just get ourselves a little further.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I pulled out my Wire DVDs. Man, this show is good.

Indeed.

My neighbor is having her sewer line snaked. Roots. She said she just calls and they come out and it's free. I forgot to ask her who she calls (city?) Loki's fascinated.

Skating went as one would expect... he was sort of like Bambi but not as coordinated. The upside is that he had a great time and he was really peeved that we had to leave at the end of the free skating time. Ice time was about $6 for both of them since they went at the last 45 minutes of free skate. Not a bad way to spend some time.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am glad he enjoyed it. So cute.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

ita (or anyone else), I missed this week's Criminal Minds, and it doesn't seem to be online. Did anything exciting happen?

Hee. Um, he probably fared better than I would. And certainly found it more enjoyable!

Huh. I have a watch-cat (though of dubious use.) Ben next door just came home and at the sound of him opening the door, Loki popped up and let out a low growl. He only came off alert when I went to the door as if to look out and talked to him. Huh. Considering I can always hear Ben's door and him going up and down the stairs if I don't have the radio on, weird that Loki reacted.

Hotch and Prentiss went to prison to interview a serial killer from season 1, the Fox, who held families who were about to go on vacation hostage and then killed them, because they had another family annihilator who had sent "look what I did too" notes to him. But they work out the notes are from someone else...turns out Foyet sent them to taunt Hotch and his family is in danger. The last we see is him stalking out of the prison in a fury. The previews for next week look intense. I can't believe the ep's not online. Are they usually?

I think it would be easier if I were a competent skater and he could have held both of our hands. As it is, he was a back breaker for K. I'm glad he had fun. I'm sure it was better than the shot he also got today.

I made the caramel apple cider cooks, the one with the dreaded alpine apple cider mix. They are delicious -- they give a hint of caramel apple goodness. I wonder, though, if I could do a chocolate or hazelnut cookie with the same caramel inserts?
