Trader Joe's stopped carrying this horseradish cheddar pub cheese

Man, I hate when they stop carrying shit. They used to carry these milk chocolate-covered peanuts that tasted just like Snickers without the caramel and nougat. So good. I still haven't eaten the very last one.

That's part of TJ's charm: sometimes they have stuff, sometimes they don't. Builds suspense.

This is weird. A university just posted a job ad which says that they will start reviewing applications November 15.

I'm also sad about the loss of salt-and-pepper peanuts.

I enjoyed the dark chocolate covered mini graham crackers. Note to self: Pick up some Peppermint Joe Joes!

Today was pretty productive for a vacation day. I did a load of laundry, got my insurance premiums dropped by $35 a month, and did 2 weeks' worth of grocery shopping.

That's weird, because my TJs just *started* carrying it this week. (I know that for certain, because The Boy ADORES the regular pub cheese, and so I buy it every week. I sometimes have to buy the jalapeno pub cheese when they're all out of regular.)

Things come back, though. I was looking for the frozen biryani for several years with no luck and then it was suddenly there again. Of course, it was not as good as I remembered, but that's a different issue.

For a long time, they carried frozen shelled edamame, which is the greatest thing ever. Then for a long time, they stopped carrying the shelled edamame and only carried the shelled kind. I asked the employees about it, and I even sent an e-mail saying how much I preferred the shelled kind. Eventually, the shelled kind came back! So I sent them an e-mail thanking them.
