Oh, I get it. You just don't like who did the rescuing, that's all. Wishin' I was your boyfriend what's-his-height. Oh wait, he's run off.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You guys, if you have a Lord & Taylor charge, you should totally shop their big sale. I should have bought more. I got one work dress, two casual shirts, and one shirt that could go either way (thought it was a work shirt, but liked it over the jeans I was already wearing) for $87. The dress alone was originally $138!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Luckily, I also came home to my first consulting paycheck.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Is there a cite on that link or is it a parody?

Just the (Reuters) thing, without a link.

Some of the comments also wonder if it's parody.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

That has to be fake.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

This weekend. What the hell am I doing this weekend? Testing code issues and reviewing Yuletide source, I suspect. I have my doubts that I'll even put on outside pants.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

This weekend I expect to try to avoid family conflict, play therapist to my sister after said family conflict, move a large entertainment center, feed the neighbor's cats, and do some work so I don't miss a deadline. At some point I may dye my hair.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just realized the solution to my concern about only sitting on one end of my sofa is to turn the cushion over now -- I don't actually care that the zipper is in the front! I just have to remember to fix it before anyone comes over.

While I was pretend shopping for homes earlier (research), now I am pretend shopping for grown up furniture.
