I want to torture you. I used to love it, and it's been a long time. I mean, the last time I tortured someone, they didn't even have chainsaws.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I stopped taping Ellen, because I started watching CM and CSI and can't manage to stay caught up with her shows. I miss her.

ION - I am looking at real estate and that is dumb.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Went to Target on Wednesday night--in and out with just the Star Trek dvd and the Glee soundtrack, but I couldn't avoid the mint M&Ms, damnit.

Drinking/drugs in junior high and hs: liquor was prevalent in hs with some usage in junior high, I heard some girls in the bathroom in 8th grade (1980) talk about scoring 'shrooms, pot and uppers were the go-to illegals in hs but there was some usage of acid and coke around. A hs friend of mine had a freakout day when he was at the quarry swimming with some buddies and bought a joint which ended up being laced with PCP--he had serious problems riding his bike home.

Thanks for the advice on the FSA/HSA account, everyone! I called Blue Cross and found out that, since I have an HMO, I won't have to pay for the surgery at all, so I'll just set up the account for glasses, dental, and copays for the various tests and doctor's appointments I'll have to have done, probably about $700 total.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Pot was widespread at my school. Also cocaine and I think maybe some E. My school had a bunch of rich kids, a lot them their parents were corporate executives and sports stars, and I strongly suspect a lot of the kids were raiding their parents stashes. There were also some gang kids, mostly Latino. Huh. I wonder why I never spotted Veronica, Logan or Weevil wandering the school grounds.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I've missed Jesse's daytime tv reports!

Seriously! You need to quit your job more often!

ION, I suck at dating.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I never really stopped watching Ellen, I have to say.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

ION, I suck at dating.

Dude, you're out there, giving it a shot. I think that dating sucks, because it's an inspection, approval, and rejection process. It's just tied right up in there.

The only talk show I'm properly into is Graham Norton. He makes everyone interesting. Jonathan Ross gets some good guests, so I check him out too, but he's not as fun an interviewer. For some reason I often end up checking out Bonnie Hunt clips on YouTube. I'm not sure why I keep seeing links to her interviewing guys I think are hot.

I actually did mean to say something about that. Dating does suck! Unless you legitimately don't care how it goes, but that's really hard.

Ellen also had an audience full of grown-ass women screaming their heads off for R.Patts.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

What are people doing this weekend?

Seeing friends for an extended birthday thing tonight, birthday tea party tomorrow (with bonus Cass!), seeing the parents for birthday dinner on Sunday. This weekend in JilliBirthday - the extended remix!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I would guess only heartless folks don't suck at dating. Dating is like a job interview which goes on all evening. I thin I:m pretty good as partner, but I was a rotten date and I hate hate hated it.
