Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Msbelle, who do you love on Leverage?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

It's a 1972 French franc (it says "Republique Francaise" on it). But they use the Euro in France now. Is this even valid currency? More importantly: is it worth more than a quarter?

How close are they in size? You'd better go back to the bank and make a fuss.

They are almost exactly the same size. The franc is a hair smaller. I only found out when the dryer wouldn't take the money and I noticed that one coin looked different from the others.

I kind of want to keep it for kicks. Although I do feel like I should tell the bank that, uh, they could have an issue with things.

touch and go with Parker, but her mostly. I love the interactions, but I don't want to just see one of them. Sophie can go away.

One of the quarters...is a franc.

The old ones are close enough that they used to work in vending machines, payphones, and the like. You know, if one was the type to do that and had some on hand.

ETA: They are no longer valid.

The team vibe is very strong on Leverage. Sophie's probably my least favourite too, but I like her role within the team. I started watching for CK and because a friend co-created it, but I ended up falling hardest (no pun intended) for Hardison. But I do love Parker's crazy ways, and she keeps getting better.

PC, keep the franc. Start a collection. This one's a freebie. I mean, free from plane fare.

I found a bhutanese ngultrum coin in my gym bag last night. No arabic lettering, so I have no clue the value. Teared up a bit, I did. I loved that time and place.

I have coinage from all my travels and a few bills stashed next to my US change. Including a fair chunk of Canadian money I never remember to take to Canada. When I was little I'd raid my father's pockets when he came back from abroad. I had the largest collection.

I have now learnt that vinaigrette stings like tomatoes. Worse than pepper. Whyever am I suddenly so acid-sensitive? Also, why am I eating salad?

ita - I thought of someone else for your sites, but now I can't remember. I thought it might be Patrick Wilson, but it's not him - he doesn't ping me the way whoever it is does. BAH stupid old brain.

It feels unearned. I've never been to France! But I am definitely keeping it.
