Well, it's just good to know that when the chips are down and things look grim you'll feed off the girl who loves you to save your own ass!

Buffista lawyers and legal researchers. My Mom remembers her father filing a precedenting Veterans Benefits case in Los Angeles (Federal courts) between 1924 and 1926. Father's name was Cary Meyerson. She'd like to look up the case to figure out if it was really precedent setting or whether that part is just family legend. Am I looking for Meyerson VS. U.S. ? How would I find it, especially how would I find it if it was NOT a significant precedent, if was just routine? For that matter, once I find it, how do I tell if it was an important precedent?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I gave the cranberry sauce a try, but next time I think I'll just save that as a side and put some mustard on the sandwich. I have a very limited range of tolerance for combining sweet and savory flavors in the same mouthful, and those ingredients don't seem to fall within it.

Art Crawl!!!

Thanks, you guys.

So far, no cake - but I did have Banana Split Pancakes for uh . . . lunch.

That probably counts, right?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Another idea is a game set in an office, where one of your goals is to avoid Tino.

hee! I would so play that.

Ugh. So tiredness is setting in again. I'm a little worried that I won't make it through teaching tomorrow.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Paula Deen is making deep-fried cranberry sauce on my tv. There are so many things wrong with that I can't even begin.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I have a sudden craving for French toast. Maybe I'll make that for dinner.

I remember being a kid and thinking that when I was an adult I could eat anything I wanted for any meal—pie for lunch and so on. Now that I'm a grownup I should take advantage of that more often. Of course, sometimes what I genuinely want is salad. Not tonight, though.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Aaaighh!

One idea is to create the interior of Serenity, so you could move from room to room.

Make it. Make it for me.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who got the Gap Give and Get coupon, where they'll give you 30% off and give 5% to Donors Choose. The coupon says it's in-store only, but if you call, they'll give you an online code to use. Good times. (Only good through today, though.)

Foot too tetchy for a long walk. Went around the block & that was clear. Got another pair of jeans that fit, and some tops. Started on cleaning. Rest will have to wait until after swimming.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I have a question, to which some of you may know the answer. If a psychiatrist learned through the course of his sessions that one of his clients was a serial killer (like Tony Soprano's shrink), a murderer who wasn't going to stop, what would his/her legal requirements be? Does doctor/patient privilege in reality (not just tv) cover this situation? At what point would the doctor be legally obligated to break confidentiality? Would confidentiality continue after the client stopped coming to sessions, or after the client's death?
