Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I think my only "must" Christmas movie is Charlie Brown Christmas. My mother always insists on watching White Christmas and Miracle on 34th Street, and I usually watch Christmas Story sometime during the 24 hours of it.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

A shitload of wtf: 35 Amazing Science Fair Projects

The most wtf? "Will There Be Minorities in Heaven?" I'm assuming this was at a Christian science fair or something....

Warning - the one on Filariasis (#12) is possibly NSFW.

"Crystal Meth - Friend or Foe?" See? WTF!

I like “Do Boys Need To Get Their Crazies Out To Do Well In School?” though.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

35 Amazing Science Fair Projects

There may well be a future serial killer in that group.

My favorite is "Teats - An Exhaustive Comparative Study. That kid had tons of text... and Maxim magazine.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I just got up to "The Sphincter - Ringed Muscle Gateway to the Scatalogical". That's just awesome.

Oh, wait - next one down. "Filariasis - bringer of cankles, ballooner of scrotums". With two pictures thereof labelled "GROSS" and "WICKED GROSS".

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Wow, I don't even follow college football but that was a huge beatdown Stanford put on USC. Mollywhopped!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thanks, msbelle! That was a big omission. I've put up a few of him now.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Right now, mortgage goes out on the first and all other bills are set for the 15th and I never ever have to think about it. I need to find a way to have that back.

I have autopay set up for my mortgage with every paycheck, so every two weeks, approximately half of what my monthly payment would be. I don't have to worry about the money being there and I'll actually get my loan paid off a little faster than paying it monthly (because it's the equivalent of 13 payments year). It's one of the options the bank gave me for autopay, in fact.

I haven't been able to get the rest of my bills on autopay yet, though, the due dates are all by calendar date and it's just inconsistent. What I do is every payday I make sure that all the bills that will be due before the next paycheck are paid. spreading the due dates as evenly through the month as you can (weighted by the amount that is usually due) should help stabilize your cash flow. Should. As I said, I haven't got a system for that, myself.

I hope you can appeal the tax bump, brenda. That sucks.
