There's more than one way to skin a cat. And I happen to know that's factually true.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

JZ, I also love hearing about your church. The problem with the Catholic Church seems to be with the hierarchy; so many of the individuals I know - including you - are such good people.

And, in case there was any doubt, Matilda seems to have inherited her mother's sense of style (and fondness for hats).

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Also, I got a note in the mail from my parents' minister. Nice!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I got a menu in my mailbox from what is apparently a Mexican restaurant associated with a Christian ministry.

I have an Italian menu with bible quotes on it. I wonder if they like heathens ordering from them, but I figure in the end they're business.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

That's only true in some parts of Northern Virginia. In others, all roads lead to Braddock Road.

I'm pretty sure that in Arlington, all roads lead to Glebe Road.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Living deep in the Bible Belt, I've always thought of the Catholics I know as the people who are laid back and tolerant about religion and social issues, as opposed to the Church of Christ groups (that my dad was a heathen backslider from) that were all about being vocally judgemental.
