Everybody dies, Tracey. Someone's carrying a bullet for you right now, doesn't even know it. The trick is to die of old age before it finds you.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Unless you go by your full name at work, I would not put a middle name on business cards.

t bandwagon Also a fan of autumn in NYC. I need to schedule a walk through CP. I gathered up leaves yesterday to decorate a pumpkin for Thanksgiving, they are in full color in my hood right now. t /bandwagon

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

While we were waiting for the bus yesterday after daycare, Dylan amused himself by picking up giant armfuls of leaves and shouting "LEAVES! WOAH!" and throwing them into the wind.

information libertarian

I would like to note that I went to high school with the sexual-harassing douchenozzle founder of American Apparel (I think he was a senior when I was a freshman). And he was expelled. IIRC for (whitefonted for a little gross at breakfast time): taking a shit in someone's corn flakes and trying to blame it on someone else.

IOW, not at all a *latent* douchenozzle.

It's a pity, since many of their t-shirts are really good quality and they are made in America by people paid a living wage, from what I understand.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Birthday Happies, Jessica!!

To me, the worst part is him trying to blame someone else.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Carpooled with my husband this morning, which meant I had to get up early. Arrived at his office, and he realized he'd forgotten his badge. Now I have no car, and he was late for work.

For breakfast, I had a Luna Bar, some pretzel chips, and sugarless chocolate mints. It's going to be a day.

hip deep in pie

I love autumn! My one time in NY in Autumn was pretty great. I think the November weather thus far had been nicer than our July weather. Of course, I've probably just jinxed the rest of the month.

Yesterday there were some landscapers clearing the leaves from the housing that's across the road from me. Never mind that they were using leaf blowers at 8:30 AM on a holiday, the guy who was in the giant trailer they were using to haul all the leaves was having a ball throwing them up in the air and stomping them down.

Last night I wasn't really hungry so I just had granola. This morning I rode my bike to work, and I noticed my legs just didn't have the strength and stamina that they have had lately. This happened once before when I didn't eat a good meal the night before.

So if I have to box someone, I'll be sure to have a piece of steak beforehand....
