See, in my fantasy, when I'm kissing you... you're kissing me. It's okay. I can wait.

Swouncing

Oh, Jessica!

For your birthday, *I* get the pleasure of posting with you for the first time since forever, and therefore am finally able to tell you how happy I was when I read the news about the little chicken (and, um, I'm still happy about those news, too!).

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Happy birthday, Jessica!!!!!

Happy b-day!

I keep seeing American Apparel ads splattered everywhere that are convincing me to never ever shop there. It's not 1982! Those glasses and hair were fugly then, they still are!

I'm not feeling kindly towards fall, but that may be due to tracking soggy dead leaves everywhere in my wake and the sheet of them covering my car and gutters.

Punishingly Intricate

Happy birthday, jessica!

So tired. Dog up at 4 and never really settled down again and I had to get up at 6 for yoga. Am so tempted to just lie on the floor of my office and practice a nice long shivasana. They might rethink giving me an office though.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

It's spring here of course, and I've discovered that my new neighbourhood has masses of bottlebrush planted everywhere. Fantastic stuff.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Thanks everyone!

It's cold and gray today, but I also love New York in autumn.
