I am not good at any of those things, but I am thinking of re-activating my online account after settling in next fall.
ita, it was a nice day, and I am not harried which I think is a win. I've got a bag of clothes and toys to take to the thrift store tomorrow, and another bag of vintage stuff to ebay over the weekend.
So far I took out the recycling in the rain, epoxied my mug handle back on, had cat run through the epoxy, grabbed cat, soaked indignant cat's paw in rubbing alcohol, discovered I'd grabbed the rubbing alcohol and vinegar mixture I use for my ears, cleaned an increasingly squirmy cat's paw off, rinsed now-cuisinart cat's paw in the sink and now I think I'll have a wee drink. As a pickle-scented Loki glares at me as he washes and washes and washes.
Best I don't try dating.
Yay Tom!
I wound up doing better out of online dating than speed dating, though I did enjoy the speed dating quite a lot. They're really quite different environments.
Oh yeah. I think I'm too picky online, so it's good for me to just get out there in person.
The Zmayhemi went to the beach today. Matilda ran along the water's edge and was cute enough that Japanese tourists wanted to take pictures with her. Emmett built a complex of sand castles.
Then we had fruit tart and cookies. Matilda took a nap. Emmett scored Terminator 1 and 3 for cheap at Amoeba and now it's dark already.
A good snippet of writing from my current favorite baseball writer.
Agents know things that will make them more money. Their hearts pump not blood, but a viscous, green sludge that is made from liquified hundred dollar bills and the tears of children who were just told their favorite player signed with the Yankees.
Chikat, is your Forester really noisy?
Yes, it is. That's its biggest drawback, IMO.
Tonight I have coached my speech team, previewed 2 hours of videos for sub lessons, written the sub lessons, downloaded and converted videos for my students to edit tomorrow, and written worksheets for next week.
The good part about being at work this late is that traffic will rock going home.
All done. I had fun!
It's all kind of a blur. I think I impressed the philosophy student's philosophy student friend by knowing what Reimann space was. I ended up seeing around 19 women 3 minutes each, before they ran out of time. I checked off about half of them as people I'd like to see again. They'll email the matches in a day or so.
