DOH! That's the one I meant, the first one.
Yeah. If you look at Gothic Charm School carefully you'll note Jilli doesn't even include that one on the list. My mom also tends to omit it when talking about the series, but I knew it was first and it was one of those things where I had to read them in order. Because that's the kind of person I am.
What's wrong with Over Sea, Under Stone? It's a nice classic riddle quest thing.

It's really boring? I'm reading the series for the first time and it made me not care about continuing, but everyone in Literary encouraged me and I did like the second one far better.

Feh. I have horrible cramps, and am mood-swinging between the states of ennui, woe, and wanting to cause people's heads to explode with the power of my mind.
It is not boring! It has Merlin and the Holy Grail and a dog!
I am megan, only I didn't continue to book 2. Maybe I should?

Yes, you should. Book 2 is excellent.
Anyone else think Dana should have stuck JZ on the phone with her Mom?
Sometimes I think we should just give up and let "alot" be a word.

Nooooooooo! I would hate that.
A lot.
eta: Although I was really surprised when a friend of mine (who has an English degree) didn't know "alot" is not a word.
