Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I remember drawing a picture to let my mom know my car needed engine help. It had my little car being passed up by bicycles, pedestrians, and a turtle. She kept it for a looooong time, but I didn't find it when we went through her stuff earlier this year. Ah, well.

Now tagless for your comfort.

How old is Owen? He got really close to the spelling of sandwiches! So cute. He definitely deserves a treat.

He's 5.

I volunteer in his classroom. Today, the center I ran was reading a book on "A" words and having the kids write and draw things that started with the letter. The other kids drew apples. Owen immediately wrote "Astro Boy" and drew the character.

The boy's a mystery.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That's pretty great.

Always Anti-fascist!

I couldn't laugh at Arrested Development because my family is too much like that. I shit you not. Instead of being amused by the OTT, I felt like they were rubbing it in. I don't know if that's funny or tragic.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

An awesome mystery indeed.

I tried Arrested Development when Charlize Theron was on. My sister swears I need to give it another chance, but I'm once burnt twice shy.

Ray Park needs to call me.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

OMG I LOVE Owen! He's adorable. Why don't y'all live nearby so we can have play dates?

Owen is a good speller, mang. Frances is a funny speller. She writes stories like "The spockaly hawc" (The spooky house) and "The cparckly daimind" (The sparkly diamond).

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

It somehow took four or more episodes before I got into AD. I don't know why, except for maybe its incredible self-referentiality. But once I got into it, I was into it. That show is amazing.

I think you do, that was a low point.

Bon, you and my sister have pretty similar comedic tastes.

Which reminds me--she's going to be here in a month and a half.
