"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

"Totes"? You've been hanging with a bad crowd, my friend, picking up their "lingo."

I learned it from Jesse and msbelle!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You did not learn it from me. Bon bon, maybe.

Maybe Bon. Maybe Rio.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I am against the use of "totes" unless it is followed by "magotes."

Heathens.

OK, I have no idea why I am noticing this now, but city is loud. Not just the nearby traffic and sirens, but a low ambient whubub. It's kinda freaking me out that I can pick it out. Out where my parents live, it's nature and the occasional whoosh of a vehicle up I-25. Up in the mountains, rush of the wind in the pines, and absent that, you'd occasionally be able to hear traffic down in the valley, 4000ft below. In Bhutan it was.... a barking dog, rush of the river below. But so much silence. But I've lived in the city for 12 years. I kinda ignored it.

And suddenly this week, I can hear the city. I can't escape it. It's like an olfactory supersensitivity. It's making me a little weird.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I mean, I would use "totes," but only ironically. I would use totes for grocery shopping.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oops. Eastwick got cancelled. Sorry, Johann.

The forgotten got more episodes ordered. God, that had a boring pilot.
