What do you mean?
That I was SO excited about New Who when it started that I can't tell if people who were not would be as into it. Not that they can't be, but that I can't know, at least not from my own experience. And I am hesitant to base my recommendations on anything but my own experience.
Which is why it's good you can add your experience to the discussion.
I rec FNL, but I only watch SPN randomly and don't get DW, so my opinions are suspect. But dear god, I love the relationships and characterizations in FNL. OMG.
Ankle seized back up. WTFF.
My sister tends to harshly judge everything I watch, but she tried DW this time round and liked it. Then Captain Jack showed up and she went over to Torchwood without looking back, but she's a big old hot for the man on man.
I noticed that the grocery list I left on the counter had "ICE CREEM SANDWICHES" added to it. I'm buying them. If Owen took the time to put them on the list, he deserves ice cream sandwiches.
Owen is awesome. When I was in high school, I used to put things on the grocery list by drawing pictures. My mom kept the list that I drew a hairy leg (for razors) on for a while. (Didn't hang it on the fridge, though.)
I totes nailed the linguini with clam sauce.
"Totes"? You've been hanging with a bad crowd, my friend, picking up their "lingo."
However -- linguini with clam sauce is totes yummy.
Kathy! Congratulations!
But that hot dog thing? No celery salt???!!!?? That's just not right.
Teppy, did you watch "Arrested Development"? One of my favorite scenes EVER was when the Bluths reminisced about the pictures instead of grades...thanks for the reminder.
Java, As much as I love SPN, I don't know if I think you would enjoy it. I would do with FNL.
Thanks Perkins. I love thriller/scary stuff with long storylines (X-Files, etc). Why do you think I won't like SPN?
FNL is wonderful.
People with questions about German things: someone at work would be helpful, if you'd like me to ask on your behalf.
I'm not sure I can pinpoint it. It just doesn't feel like a you show--too much suspension of belief or something.
