this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Even though my nutritionist friend says margerine is full of the evil transfats.

There are some that don't have trans fats. I don't know what mystical mojo is worked upon Smart Balance to make it have no trans fats, but it claims to have none. That's my default margarine.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Syrup in my world is either maple or golden.

Grew up with Roger's Golden as our staple syrup. Whee.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

My usual margarine is Earth Balance.

My dad was a firm believer in always having a gallon of maple syrup in the freezer and made sure we were properly stocked at the end of each summer. I do miss that.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

My sister keeps her butter in a bell I keep a stick in a butter dish on the counter. We grew up on margarine but switched to butter (independently) for the perceived natural healthiness. I'm not sure I could tell the difference by blind taste, honestly. My parents don't eat butter or margarine anymore, but they keep some butter in the freezer for when my sister visits, so I'm thinking she has more of a taste for it.

I've never been in the habit of putting syrup on anything, but when I do I go for maple grade B

What is even happening?

No House of Representatives Watch-n-Post on the Healthcare Bill? Who are you people and what have you done with my Buffistas. We just got 218 votes (including one brave, Republican soul). Hooray! Oh, it's 219, now. 220. I'll watch and post by myself, I will.

What's teh difference between the grades of maple syrup?

I can't watch the Health Care, Cindy, it would upset me too much, I'd start yelling, and my blood pressure would go all through the roof, and that would be bad for my OWN health. So, I'll just have to wait and see how it turned out tomorrow, and then be vaguely happy (because it's still not communists socializing my nazism or whatver) or disappointed, as necessary.
