Right, there comes a point where you have to either move on, or just buy yourself a Klingon costume and go with it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

At the rate I'm going I'll be in the ER tomorrow and can't do groceries then either. So today I needed more than dinner. I needed a week's worth of groceries.

Not that I remembered everything. But at least it's mostly done, and I'm home again.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

For the sweet tea vodka, I'd use lemonade -- but that seems to be my default, as that's what I'm currently drinking with passionfruit vodka.

I don't know about espresso. Baileys?

“Not dead yet!”

I'm now having dinner tomorrow night at Victoria and Alberts.

So.

Jealous.

Back from the hockey game. So tired.

They're starting PeeWee Hockey here earlier and earlier all the time. Shortly after they start walking, while it's still not too far to fall on the ice. :-)

I just made a lovely chicken dinner and sat down to watch Bones while I ate. ANd it is about factory farming chickens.

Heh.

So, my mother walked off with my housekeys. Oh! But I think I have extras. At least I have my apartment key, but I'm not 100% sure about the front door key. Hmmm.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I lost the morning to a migraine. I'm still having a migraine, but if I don't do grocery shopping today, I go hungry.

I kind of feel your pain. I lost the morning to cramps (even more annoying because I'm not actually bleeding, it's three freaking days away! )

I managed to get productive after taking some drugs, went to both cleaners (the good one for the nice stuff, and the cheap one for the stuff I don't care as much about, like sweaters), returned the raincoat that was too heavy, went to the grocery store and some other stuff.

I made chicken soup from scratch today. And I do mean from scratch - even the stock and the noodles. Well, spaetzle. I did not raise the chicken.

I am also making stock right now! I have been craving creamy chicken rice soup for a few days, so I'm making it now. Well, the stock at least. I'll leave it in the fridge tonight and skim off the fat so I can make the soup tomorrow. I also bought beer today to make beer bread to go with it tomorrow

Speaking of cocktails, I have a question for cocktail people--what should I buy to mix with a) Three Olives triple espresso Vodka, and b) Seagram's sweet tea vodka (individually not together, obviously) that I could buy at Trader Joes or a regular grocery store?

I think that the espresso vodka would go well with chocolate milk or shaken over ice with some amaretto might be nice.

The sweet tea would go well with pineapple juice, or perhaps a sparkling lemon soda.

I wasn't able to find the 4th season of SGA at Target to spend my birthday gift certificate on this afternoon (it was at Barnes & Noble, but at a much higher price than online, which irks me even if most of the money I'd be spending is a gift). But I did find Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon on sale for $4.75, way too cheap to pass up.

I may also have bought a cheap copy of She's the Man. Don't judge me, it had a barechested Channing Tatum on the back cover!
