Hi all. I was awakened at 6:30 by Isaac. So not planning on getting up that early. I sent him away to play, he promptly woke sister too. Together the play got loud and I yelled QUIET! Uncharacteristic of me. Cody decided I NEEDED sleep and got up with the kids. I love him.
When I got up at 8, kids were playing quietly, and DH had gone to pick up coffee, so I made breakfast.

No, but the town itself owns the team. There's a deep loyalty and love that goes on between the players and the town (as a rule, fuck you, Favre), which is very cool.

You early awakening people are freaks. I, on the other hand, slept and slept, and eventually looked at my phone to see if I could sleep some more, and it was 12:30. And I figured, not so much. So now I am up.

I'm torn between being elated that Hot Young Waiter® came over to chat with me today despite my not being seated in his section and deep disappointment that I missed his restaurant holding a Halloween party (to which he wore a caveman costume!) while I was squeezed into a 24-inch square of bar space against a wall across town.
My fairly productve morning was cancelled out by a fairly lazy afternoon.
I am not doing any of the projects I had wanted to do. OTOH, I have decided that I want a hatchback and I am getting my dad the info to start doing research for what will be the best 3-4 cars for me togo test drive in the spring.
I slept in and then refused to get out of bed, stayed listening to the radio instead. BUT, I did finally get out and make s run to a swim shop where I got a suit that will hopefully last longer than a month (seriously! These supposedly last 20x as long) and she told me that if I end up liking it, they do the bulk of their business in overstock and fitting out teams, so if I order 5-6 suits at once, they offer deep discounts. Like 1/3 the price. So if this one holds up, I'll be doing that.
Then Target where they didn't have catfood, but got other stuff. Finishing lunch and then pool. I really should have walked today, but eh.
I made chicken soup from scratch today. And I do mean from scratch - even the stock and the noodles. Well, spaetzle. I did not raise the chicken.
