I love the smell of desperate librarian in the morning.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I had a morning like Kat's, but with cats instead of kids! I woke up about 5:30, threw enough food in the cats' bowls so that they would ignore me, then went back to bed until almost 8:00.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

HA! you only have to worry when you are on to breakfast three.

Luckily, I almost never get up THAT early. The next time I eat will definitely be lunch...

Hey jesse, can you e-me your new address?

I can!

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

We're going to Noah's first hockey game this afternoon (obviously he's watching not skating). So fun!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I was awake at 6, couldn't get back to sleep, finally got up at 7. Now I'm at work. On a Saturday. Bleargh.

AND I have beautiful emerald green toenails newly painted and a hartford whaler's shirt to wear. (of course the hartford whalers are long gone).

OOH, me too, please.

I have to take Perkins to the vet this morning, and try to make my apartment look more liveable, but maybe I will paint my nails first.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

They're starting PeeWee Hockey here earlier and earlier all the time. Shortly after they start walking, while it's still not too far to fall on the ice. :-)

Aww! My niece (now 18) used to make us march all over the Aud with her to follow Sabretooth.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I have yet to have breakfast #1, but that is normal for me on a sat. Mac had a little tiff or something with a karate friend and refused to go into class, so we leftand he is now running errands with me. No mcd for him today, which begs the question, what do we have for food at home? I think precious little. Maybe we stop at the grocery store on the way home also.

hip deep in pie

I have been up since 8, and sort of productive. I've done a little cleaning. I am thinking about Xmas shopping, so I am doing a little preliminary shopping research online.

Also, I am trying to purge some of my crap, so I am slowly oging through areas where junk builds up--closets, basement, junk baskets and clearing them out. I really need to do a clothing purge too, but I am very bad at them. I have a bunch of mending and crafty projects that have been piling up since last winter, so I might tackle some of those.
