Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am obsessed with keeping my heat off, since I'm paying for it now, but I haven't actually figured out the timers on the thermostat thingies -- I just run around turning the temperature down if the heat starts to come on but I'm not cold.

On the acronym thing, my first job in New York was working in an area I hadn't done before, and my whole first meeting I just spent writing down all of the acronyms I didn't know and then trying to figure out WTF anyone was talking about. Good times.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Why are boys such gas-bags?

What are you feeding him? Cut down on soda.

He doesn't drink soda unless we have dinner out. Which we actually did tonight. But still...this is the norm. He drops an SBD and then giggles like mad. And then it literally hits me. Blech.

They're kind of at the age where any time they laugh you should be wary.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

John Cho rocks. I love his fight scene from Star Trek. Was the second Harold and Kumar movie any good? I'm so glad he has a TV gig. And glad that we learnt the future could be changed.
