Is it a parade for the Yankees? If so, aren't New Yorkers used to them winning the Series by now? I would think it would be so old hat that a parade would be silly.

I'm mostly pissed because I can't get to my 12:15 therapy appointment.
We are having the dreaded "wintry mix," as you Americans like to call it. I have been at work for 3.5 hours and my pants are still wet. Fortunately, there is a puppy here, and pizza is on the way.
In theory, ticker-tape parades are awesome. However, I would have gladly skipped this one if it meant fewer douchebags in Yankees shirts on my morning commute.
My boss is totally at that parade. She said she'd be out of the office for a half-hour. Yeah, I doubt it.

Today is already being a DAY. Isaac has pink eye and my MiL has some doctor appts, so poor DH is dragging pink eyed boy to the hospital. Not a good set up.
Can folks please cross fingers that MiL's brain scan results come back negative? We're already looking at not so good results elsewhere and would rather not be battling on two fronts.
