Godammit, Maine! [link] I'm so disappointed in my home state. Again.

I was sorry to see the vote go that way.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh my god, you guys -- I have missed you so much!! I finally (FINALLY) have internet in my new apaprtment, and now I have a shitload of work to do, and I swear I will at least make an attempt to catch up here, but I have not done that yet.

In short, now I live in Boston.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I live in Boston.

Yay!

Congrats!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Jesse!

Having lived in Maine during the last gay rights go round, I am saddened, but not surprised.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Ugh. Is the margin at least a little narrower than it was before? We need some crumbs of hope that it isn't going to always be like this every single time.

I posted this in Bitches:

The main thing that makes me feel better is, in the long run we'll win. The generation in their 50s and 60s is far more homophobic than the generation in their 20s. The side of prejudice is on the wrong side of history....

It looks like 47-53%, so I think so. A lot more people came out to vote, too.

Jesse! Welcome to your new place!

I am more delighted with each post making Halloween the official most-romantic-Buffista-day of the year.

Hi Jesse! Hows the new place?

It's good! It's smaller than my old place, which is slightly challenging, but it seems that the stuff I don't have room for is crap I don't need anyway.

Absolutely. I also feel better because now I live in Massachusetts! (Hee.)
