Y'all see the man hanging out of the spaceship with the really big gun? Now I'm not saying you weren't easy to find. It was kinda out of our way, and he didn't want to come in the first place. Man's lookin' to kill some folk. So really it's his will y'all should worry about thwarting.

re: the box and sand et al.

Koenig may have shot someone on principle if an in depth philosophical discussion broke out.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I do have a box with sand in it, but it's never been on a beach. I have had a similar box on the beach, but it had silver inlaid runes in it and no sand. ah, Essaoiura, land of sand and boxes.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

OK, that is evocative and convincing.

I now have no idea what is in the box. Perhaps Gwyneth Paltrow's head.

That would be Dean's pick--Gwyneth's head and a Desert Eagle.

Sam would have a map and instructions to make a boat.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I now have no idea what is in the box. Perhaps Gwyneth Paltrow's head.

That was the immediate image that leapt to mind when I heard about the question. I wonder how often the S.H.I.E.L.D. interviewers hear that one?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

What's in the box? WHAT'S IN THE BOX?

Surely the obvious answer is sand.

I love this answer. Of course I recently saw Peter and the Starcatcher, so...

All of the emotional moments of the end of the episode were completely lost on me. I was too busy laughing about the plasma source four juniors. [link] I gotta get me one of those.

Also, I watched In Your Eyes. I liked it.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I saw the movie too. I didn't care for it. It felt a little Lifetime to me.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I was a bit sorry to see Patton Oswalt go, especially since it was off-screen.

Did i miss something? Ward claimed he was dead, but I am assuming he wasn't.

Didn't Skye find his body?

Yeah, because my brain. For some reason I mixed up Patton Oswalt with Bill Paxton.

Patton and Paxton?

I'll sit over here.

Ha! "If Melinda May’s mother is a former secret agent, played by Tsai Chin, does that mean her father is James Bond?" [link]

It felt a little Lifetime to me.

Eh, a little bit. The lead guy was charming. I wouldn't say it's a "must see".
