Just got back from Broken Embraces.

Great acting, and often pretty to look at, but I'm not sure I get the point. It did make me want to rewatch Women on the Verge though.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Broken Embraces

Agreed. It wasn't a bad film, just kind of meh. I was disappointed.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

10 Vampire Movie Fails

I've never heard of Gayracula...

This one doesn't need much explanation. It's about a guy named Count Gaylord who stalks the streets of L.A. for the hunkiest victims to ever succumb to lust, as well as his enemy, the Marquis de Suede (okay, I'll admit that's an awesome name). Oh, and it's a gay porn, not B-roll of Tom Cruise as Lestat.

eta: But who included porn films in best/worst lists of genre films? I mean, people don't generally include Flesh Gordon in lists of bad scifi films, do they?

For American Psycho fans, a picture of The Perfect Billboard.

For The Thing fans, a short story with a different perspective.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I liked Broken Embraces. I'm not sure what it says about Woman on the Verge but I wanted to spend time with those characters.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

For American Psycho fans, a picture of The Perfect Billboard.

Ha, nice! But they made a billboard for one airing of an eight-year-old movie?

It's not that I didn't like it, I just wanted to like it more than I did.

I'm not sure what it says about Woman on the Verge but I wanted to spend time with those characters.

That is (essentially) the movie they are making (with a different name).

I've seen Woman on the Verge. I mean conceptually, what is he saying about that movie.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

This is the best trailer for Daybreakers I have seen. Made me jump out of my chair at the end, it did. [link]

Well, it is New Zealand. Apparently it was the TV premiere.
