Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Let the Right One In?

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

That's not 2009 though, is it?

Yeah, but I was responding to this:

I can't think of any truly romantic movies in the 2000s.

Ah.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I found Away We Go to be fairly romantic.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I so did not like Let The Right One In. It might qualify for a dysfunctional relationship of the decade, though.

Dana, that is quite the weird list. Gladiator? Really? I enjoyed the movie, but it takes a lot of selling to rank it above so many others. Nice to see Chuck and Buck get a critical mention. Damn, that movie did make me cover my eyes. So uncomfortable.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

That list is odd. However, it does make me want to see The Century of the Self.

Sweeney Todd! Sweeney Todd!

(Yes, I wanted those two crazy kids to work it out, and go on making meat pies for years and years.)
