Sweet lumpy minion, you're the only one that understands. Probably 'cause I haven't sucked the brain out of you yet.

Our wings are not tired.

Jess, he sings and talks about his unbelievably poignant song about New Orleans here.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Can't listen to it now, but I think I've heard Aaron Neville's cover of it. Totally heartbreaking.

Another thing about the movie; much as with Ratatouille, you'll likely walk out extremely hungry. Sadly, while it's possible to find acceptably good French food in lots and lots of places, it's damn hard to find a perfect beignet in Oakland.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Sadly, while it's possible to find acceptably good French food in lots and lots of places, it's damn hard to find a perfect beignet in Oakland.

That is sad. I don't think I've had a beignet in a long time. There was a good place in Houston that we went to occasionally.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

My husband has been on a beignet kick this week. He has made them 3 days in a row. They are heavenly with vanilla ice cream for dessert.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I've been told Just For You Cafe in SF has good beignets, but I don't have first-hand knowledge with which to recommend.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That sounds like something that needs group research, -t.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Honestly, when I think "Randy Newman + Disney" the word that comes to mind is "palatable."

See, I know that's been the case in recent years (and, granted, his dad was major Hollywood composer, so it runs in the family) but Randy Newman wrote and performed "Rednecks", so "edgy" is pretty much my default position for him.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Yeah, much less "Sail Away."

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Or the one about dropping the bomb on everyone.

Does the head bad guy in Casino Royale look like the love child of James Woods and the Rock to anyone else?
