Y'all see the man hanging out of the spaceship with the really big gun? Now I'm not saying you weren't easy to find. It was kinda out of our way, and he didn't want to come in the first place. Man's lookin' to kill some folk. So really it's his will y'all should worry about thwarting.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Daniel Day Lewis. I think I slept through 2008. I remember none of that.

I think the Milk screenwriter might be the breakout star of the telecast for me. He's adorable.

Totally

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Wow. How many members of Hollywood's Old Boys Club passed away in the last 3 years?

OK, finally remembered that when I got home I was going to look up what the deal was with the white knot was that a bunch of the celebs were wearing. As we suspected, it's a gay marriage equality thing. All "tying the knot" is the concept. Which is cool, I like the idea. :)

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I don't get the montage-ing of the nominees with previous movies. It's freaking me out and confusing me.

I do love that the Milk montage featured Mel in blueface giving an inspirational speech.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

As much of a non-shock as this is, it's nice that the kids get to be up on stage.
