Giles, if you would like to get by in American society, then you are going to have to follow our traditions. You're the patriarch. You have to host the festivities, or it's all meaningless.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am currently fascinated by Walmart's advertising vs. their PR. The other day, my coworker was telling me that they have all of this new cute stuff, really cheap. Then I noticed that their clothes are all over this month's Oprah magazine. But their TV ads are still all about paying less for groceries and whatnot.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Why is my fruit yoghurt so damned sweet? I need to pace myself with water.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I tend to buy fruit on the bottom yogurt and then don't mix. I don't get the too sweet thing either.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I usually have yogurt at lunch, and I buy big containers of plain yogurt and put some of it in a little container with frozen fruit and a little bit of sugar the night before, and then the fruit has thawed by the time I eat it.

“Not dead yet!”

That's why I like Fage-- the Greek yogurt is a bit tarter and if you get it with fruit, it's on the side, so you can moderate.

AUGH-- Sudafed strikes again.

How many shower scenes does this movie have, anyway? Also, I'm nearly certain that they cut out the beach volleyball scene.

“Not dead yet!”

I found Grace of My Heart on a cable channel-- one that pauses for commercials every five minutes, it seems like. Good thing I have the DVD. I may have to watch it tomorrow.

Last few times I had Greek yoghurt it made me headachey for some reason I can't fathom.

I bought three different brands of peach yoghurt to test, and I'm scared of the last one, the store brand. It's a bigger tub than the rest, but it's 36 or so g or sugar. I could go into sugar shock.

I'm nearly certain that they cut out the beach volleyball scene.

So many girls attained puberty during that scene. It would be a crime to excise it.

That which does not kill you should RUN

Top Gun is on TV. This is a ridiculous movie, but I love it.

Top Gun is AWESOME. Also ridiculous.

And very, very gay. Gayer even than The Birdcage.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Not, however, as gay as Point Break. Or Tango and Cash.

Though slightly gayer than Roadhouse.
