Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

At least I know how to operate a blender, though.

This is the new rice-in-a-tube, isn't it.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Yes, but see how well Sean has learned to cook!

Old friend who had left no trace online and moved around Europe too quickly to keep up with has resurfaced back in Prague! And has kids! Man, I could tell her kids tales....she was quite the wild child. When I briefly lived with her, I never knew who I'd find sleeping in the tub or on our bedroom floor. Or if the sink would still be on the wall.

(maybe I can get her to get the spinach burger recipe from the Radost cook...)

Also, I have a deck estimate guy coming saturday. And blind measuring tomorrow, though they haven't called with a time, which is annoying.

Diatomaceous earth. I actually haven't seen any new dead roaches since the weekend. I'm hoping they all died in their lairs.

eta: I feel your pain. I hate/fear the things, one of my few bug issues. I knew moving into the city proper would mean them, but uhg.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I have to say, I really, really don't miss the roaches. There's lots of things I miss about the South, but flinching every time I walk into my garage at night? Not one of them.

I was a little surprised we have NM size roaches up here in B'more. But I shouldn't have been, it makes sense given the population density and housing stock. I just didn't have them in the more suburban area I lived (I saw the little ones, but those don't freak me out.)

I had a random water bug in my place the other night. Now I know there are more and am squicked.
