OK, the electricians are going to totally think amateur hour, which it is, but I have semirigid metal hose going to 4 ft of metal duct, elbow joint, another 4 feet of duct in front of the step and then semirigid up to the window. Probably totally not up to code (everything I see mentions 8 feet) but I can't physically get the dryer any closer to the exterior without blocking a door or something. I'll just have to keep them clean.
