Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Geordi wouldn't lie to us.

Is it a boy Bandit Lee or a girl Bandit Lee? I hope they take a month to tell us!

Looks like Bandit is a girl. I am embarassingly squealy.

Of course, we all knew the boy name was Dracula.

HA - I just found a spreadsheet print out of the mix CD round robin we did - tracking the progress.

I also just found 3 iPod adhesive skins that I never used. They are for a 4th Gen iPod, smaller screen and a click wheel. The skins are silver - 1 looks like shiny chrome, 2 like brushed aluminum. If anyone is interested, let me know. I ma happy to send them out.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I just saw the Meat Puppets by accident.

They were playing at the Apple store in downtown Chicago, but I didn't know that when I went there. I saw maybe the last 1/2 or 1/3 of their set. Then I bought a Macbook Pro.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I just saw the Meat Puppets by accident.

I hear their new album is quite good.

Is that a good or a bad thing that they're promoting it by playing at an Apple store? (Well, they must be playing a more conventional gig in Chicago as well.)

There were a lot of aging hipsters in the audience, plus many Apple store employees were watching as well.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I think "aging hipsters" is your ambivalent answer to that, tommyrot.

It's not like the market is particularly receptive to a GREAT new Meat Puppets album.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I just saw the Meat Puppets by accident.

I can wish you nothing but more happy accidents, tommy.
