Hi, all. I am home in KC after an uneventful plane ride. Southwest has good coffee, yo. And I got home and promptly fell into bed for a 4 hours nap.
WOO.
NC was FUN! I saw amyth and Calli and amyth and her DH (who looks amazingly like one of my best guy friends!) and Hayden and Darth! I like the area; it's very pretty!
I had 2 Durhamites (iced tea, lemonade and vodka, hell YEAH), bacon cheese fries, which is the food of the gods, a Carolina Shandy, which is beer made palatable by the generous application of lemonade and the aforementioned Fernet, which is, as the bottle proclaims twice...unique.
It was like a meadow soaked in alcohol. I...don't even know. "Unique" is certainly not wrong.

I know, Nora. I'm sure it was Very Nice Beer; I am a shame to my Irish/Scots/German ancestors. But the only way I drink beer is generally on a really hot day, in a really cold river, with a shitton of lemon added to generally a Boulevard (local brew) Wheat.
