Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I am all checked in for my flight! And about 80% packed! I need to consult my list and arrange a ride to the airport for tomorrow morning at ass-crack o'clock.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Is there some sort of breakfast thing planned on either Saturday or Sunday? Since I can't come to the actual shindig, I want to see me some Buffistas and figure that's the best time.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm also curious if there's anything happening Friday night - I'm probably going to take a nap in the afternoon after I get in, but I'll be awake by dinnertime!

Kristin said something about a gathering at her place Friday night.

As for brekkie on Saturday, I'm totally in. I haven't seen Robin in YONKS AND YONKS.

Selfishly, I'd prefer Sunday, since I don't get in until late morning on Saturday, but some people (Jessica excepted) may be hungover on Sunday.

I'm all for partying Sunday, since I'll be around all day, and also don't get in until Saturday morning.

Of course, at one point I was hoping it'd be nice enough to hang out by the pool or something, even if fully clothed, but seems like that's a big fat no.

Our wings are not tired.

I want to see bunches of you in addition to seeing you at The Reception. But, I am also trying to see some other friends who live in LA. I would love a late breakfast/lunch/whatever. Aims and I have an included breakfast in our hotel rate but we can eat twice. Notice how I am talking for Aims here?

And Aims, have you figured out how you're getting around once you land? I don't come in until Friday night. Do I need to call the hotel and make arrangements for you to check in before me?

Why limit ourselves - pre-party brunch on Saturday and hangover brunch Sunday!

Love it!

I love it when you talk for me!!

I think Laura and Brendan and me and whoever else that gets in that early will be doing a lunch thing at some point. I think Laura and I talked about them maybe picking me up from Burbank, but that could have been a conversation in my head. If they are unable to, I can totally just cab it to the hotel if it would be ok with you if I checked in before you got here. I promise not to make a mess. I figure at some point in the afternoon I'll want a nap or at least a lie-down since I'll be getting up at 1:30am Cali time to make my flight tomorrow morning.
