The recipe I usually make says "Serves 3 to 4 (about 8 3-inch pancakes)" and I get 3.5 sensibly sized pancakes out of it. And by sensible I mean about 6" diameter. I don't get the disparity between the recipe and my breakfast.
The disparity is that they are craxy. Eight 3-inch pancakes serves two. Max. And not two hungry people. Two people who already ate the platter of bacon and the grapefruit.

I think I might remember that show. I remember a show about waitresses with Ann Jillian, but that may have been pre-Fox.
That was It's A Living. I think that was direct-to-syndication. Aha, it was on ABC at first, and then syndicated for ages after the network dropped it.
I preferred Ann Jillian in Jennifer Slept Here, because the theme song is STILL IN MY HEAD.

Yes-- she threw out food! Well, salt and pepper, and ketchup, and tea bags-- that sort of stuff. None of it was "mine" it was shared stuff! She also put all the extra mugs in my office while I was out but those were guest mugs!
I KNEW I should have taken those toothpicks! I have had my eye on them for 3 years!
But thank you guys for the validation, because I just went all Hulk Smash and felt a little crazy! Related question-- does anyone else have their lips go numb when they are repressing anger? I tried googling and all I got was PTSD, which I am fairly certain the toothpick anger did not cause for me.
