Oh, yeah, TLIYL is a total sucker punch for me, both of memories and meaning. I had cognative dissonance when I heard it sung at a waaay conservative location (jesus, I don't want to get into how unwelcome I felt just by signs alone) in Waco and cheered, but was prompted to recall it can hold a lot more interpretations than Guthrie intended. Which both irritated me and made me hold a little hope. It's a damned protest song that all those die-hard conservative-hating-my-peoples Texans were embracing. Now that's true subversion!

in this area a coat dries in about an hours --might take 2 up in your area. Matt used the gloss on guitars --- very shiny.

It takes a couple hours with the heat cranked, at least, as I recall from when my in-laws have done their floors.

When/if we refinish the floors upstairs, I'm still wedded to using Osmo Hardwax Oil. LOVE the stuff.

Yeah, I'm skipping again (I'm grading, slower than a - oh, think of an image containing glaciers-in-the-shape-of-a-turtle without any global warming being forced to pretend they may at some point start to drift, and you get the idea regarding the pace I manage to work. Only glaciers don't tend to fall asleep once or twice a day, regardless of anything, so there's also that. This sleep thing? Highly recommended. I still need to wrap my mind around the concept of doing it each and every night, and to finish with all this grading so that I can get back to, you know, actually doing some fun stuff, but I digress).

Anyway, I'm only poking my head because, according to the Buffista Calendar, it's Jessica's and Fone Bone's anniversary, and I wanted to wish them both a great day and a wonderful year!
