Well, it may not be much help in your situation, but she would go for some alone time in her rocking chair on the porch, looking over her garden, and that usually led to a short nap.
On the other hand, when my grandfather felt that way he would go out for a drive -- around town, or out in the country, wherever whim and random chance took him.

I'm pretty pleased about Biden (my text came at 2:47, FTR). I do think he shores up Obama on not just foreign pol but with the "white working class" voter that Clinton claimed.
Plus, he's been in Congress for as long as I've been alive, so that takes care of the "Obama doesn't have enough experience" issue. And, in fact, it also creeps into the Old White Guy demographic.

Ditto. When I get enough (and some motivation) I make banana bread. Also, I really don't like mushy bananas (make me start gagging.) I like 'em when they are just shy of green, so if I don't manage to eat my 5 bananas/week, they quickly end up frozen.
