Oh, the McCain house thing is fun!
Somebody asked him how many houses he had. He said he wasn't sure and would have to check with his people.
Turns out the answer is seven -- but that one residence is two seperate condos (the kids were visiting the place at the beach so much it seemed wise to get another) so you see how he might be confused.
All of which is a bit much for a guy who's been working hard to sell his opponent as an "elitist".
Yeah, loving the house thing.
Not as much as my newsguy boyfriend, but close.(KO, is ittorture or the Diamondbacks, babe?)
And I've got one condo and no private jets.
But common people can actually touch my hands wihout activating the monkey on my back.
ETA: One thing that ALWAYS bugged me about McCain...as the election got closer, I always felt that he cripped it up more, trying to remind us about Hanoi. Again.
Now, he's older and his mobility is that compromised.
FWIW
A back monkey would probably be handy for you to have, Erika.
The McCain house thing is very fun! Not only does it show how un-self-aware he is about how clueless he sounds (as well as how "elitist"), but it is showing that Obama's camp can strike back and strike back hard when given an opportunity. They had their first ad on this running on TV within 12 hours after he said it, and already have their second ad up today (48 hours after). Also, progressive bloggers are having key rings sent out to Denver to distribute to convention-goers to waive on the floor at the cameras, like the Republicans waived their purple bandaided fingers in 2004.
Still wouldn't steal Percocet from orphans.
Cindy did.
Which I guess I would get over if she didn't walk around like her shit didn't stink.
I wonder if the sling is a message for Dr. FeelGood.
My weekend: Saturday is a certain 5 yo's birthday, also the day for a kindergarten play date to meet future classmates. Sunday is the party. Monday is the first day of the semester. Last night a bunch of DH's relatives came to town to visit my MiL. I may have a breakdown between now and Monday, but so far I'm just numb with denial.
I was reading today how the McCain campaign altered their adoption story to glam it up for this election. Throw up in my mouth.
