Willow: Something evil-crashed to earth in this. Then it broke out and slithered away to do badness. Giles: Well, in all fairness, we don't really know about the "slithered" part. Anya: No, no, I'm sure it frisked about like a fluffy lamb.

Never fails, bad work things happen on Fridays and at 4:30 you are still waiting for a go-ahead/don't go-ahead/ohSHIT response.

Art Crawl!!!

I heard some speculation that it won't happen 'til Sunday so all the Saturday morning political shows continue talking about all of McCain's houses.

Punishingly Intricate

I heard some speculation that it won't happen 'til Sunday so all the Saturday morning political shows continue talking about all of McCain's houses.

I thought there were plans for him and whoever the VP is to appear together tomorrow?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I just watched that video, shrift. Although I feel stupid now because I can't spot you.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Oh! And this guy: [link]

Maybe not the most accomplished Olympian, but my Aunt was his grade three teacher (and his only teacher to send him a good luck card or something, per his mother), and his mother was in nursing school with my mother.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

They're supposed to be appearing in Springfield tomorrow.

But I'd also heard that they meant to announce earlier in the week and pushed it back because of the McCain house thing.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Another boycott:

Today, the right-wing American Family Association (AFA) announced a protest of Hallmark for its decision to start selling gay marriage greeting cards. AFA wants Hallmark to “stop promoting a lifestyle that is not only unhealthy, but is also illegal in 48 states.”

[link]

It was the AFA who organized the McDonnalds boycott, right? Hopefully this one will work as poorly....

Oh, and they're boycotting Ford too, right? Pretty soon they're gonna need a big database to keep track of everyone they're boycotting.

OK, I googled - they're boycotting Ford, McDonnalds, Disney and Hallmark over TEH GAYZ. They also boycotted Target for not using the word "Christmas" enough.

eta:

This followed similar recent efforts by the AFA against Crest toothpaste, Volkswagen, Tide detergent, Clorox bleach, Pampers, MTV, Abercrombie & Fitch, K-Mart, Burger King, American Airlines and S.C. Johnson & Son, makers of Windex, Ziploc, Pledge, Glade, and Edge. Late last year, the AFA also went after the movie “Shark Tale,” because the group believed the movie was designed to brainwash children into accepting gay rights. Not a single AFA target has ever caved to the group’s demands.

eta²:

The maker of the highly popular American Girl line of dolls has become the target of conservative activists threatening a boycott unless it cuts off contributions to a youth organization that supports abortion rights and acceptance of lesbians.
